We are a new education institution that runs 2 programs:
Early Childhood Education & Nursery (Ages 0-6)
Rooted in the US Massachusetts Standards, our holistic, child-centered, inquiry-based curriculum nurtures children’s natural curiosity and fosters independence, creativity, and critical thinking. Every space is intentionally designed to promote engagement and discovery.Afterschool Enrichment (Ages 4-12)
Led by expert educators, our afterschool programs provide enriching, hands-on experiences that extend learning beyond the school day. We offer a diverse range of activities, including STEM, Robotics, Coding, Stitchwork, Mindful Art, Fine Arts, and Language Programs, in a safe, dynamic, and inspiring environment.
The Assistant Manager will lead our early years program (80%) while aiding the admin of Afterschool Enrichment (20%), ensuring high-quality education, compliance with regulatory standards, and an enriching environment for children, families, and staff. This leadership role requires experience in inquiry-based and child-based learning, a strong knowledge of US or UK curricula, and a deep understanding of early childhood best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
Inspire and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, inquiry-based programs in line with US curricula.
Maintain compliance with local and international regulatory standards, including KHDA guidelines, licensing, and health & safety protocols.
Ensure operational efficiency, from classroom management to resource allocation, while upholding our mission of excellence in education and care, hospitality, and service.
Aid with implementation of quality assurance measures, conducting regular program evaluations and staff performance assessments.
Staff Supervision & Professional Development
Lead, mentor, and train educators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Conduct regular staff observations, feedback sessions, and training programs to uphold curriculum, teaching and business standards.
Aid in oversight of recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of all nursery staff.
Family & Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with parents and families, maintaining open communication through regular progress reports and engagement initiatives.
Aid in organizing family events, workshops, and curriculum showcases to foster parent involvement.
Serve as an ambassador for our center promoting our programs through tours, outreach, and strategic community partnerships.
Guide families through a welcoming admissions process, ensuring smooth transitions from inquiry to enrollment.
Curriculum & Program Development
Oversee the implementation of child-led, inquiry-based learning model
Develop strategies to enhance learning outcomes, ensuring alignment with US guidelines
Ensure the nursery’s curriculum fosters creativity, problem-solving, and holistic child development.
Compliance & Safety
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment that meets health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Ensure the nursery adheres to KHDA and international quality assurance standards, including staff-to-child ratios, safety protocols, and facility requirements.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and staff training on emergency procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
CACHE Level 5 or equivalent qualifications may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
Experience in USA, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or other inquiry-based models is a major plus.
Familiarity with KHDA regulations and UAE education sector is an advantage.
Background in afterschool programs is a plus.
Experience working and setting up a new branch in Dubai is a major plus.

Strong proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
