We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support our lead educators in delivering a high-quality, inquiry-based learning experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn more about the Reggio Emilia approach and grow within an early childhood education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Teacher in implementing a Reggio-inspired, child-centered curriculum.

• Assist with preparing and organizing materials for hands-on learning activities.

• Engage with children during lessons, activities, and play, fostering a nurturing and encouraging environment.

• Help observe and document children's progress, contributing to assessments and reports.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.

• Communicate positively with children, families, and colleagues, supporting the overall learning community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred (but not required).

• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is a plus.

• A willingness to learn about and implement the Reggio Emilia approach.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• A positive attitude and a passion for working with children.

• You have both experience and availability in teaching enrichment programs such as (at least 1) fine arts, coding, LEGO club, robotics, Arabic, or chess, as part of The Ivy's Enrichment programs for children aged 3-17.
