We are seeking warm, dedicated Assistant Educators for our Business Bay campus, opening this September. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your career in early education at a brand-new school — learning alongside experienced Lead Educators from the very first day.
Step into a high-end, architecturally inspired environment designed to spark curiosity and joy. Our centre features stunning open-plan rooms bathed in natural light and premium natural play spaces, supported by a frequent rotation of world-class, age-appropriate resources. Operating hours are 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, with educator shifts scheduled within this window.
Key Responsibilities
- Classroom Support: Assist the Lead Educator in delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences and maintaining a beautiful, well-prepared classroom environment.
- Care: Provide attentive, warm care that supports each child's physical, emotional, and developmental needs throughout the day.
- Learning Facilitation: Help prepare and organize materials for lessons and activities, encouraging children's participation and creativity.
- Observation & Documentation: Observe children's behavior and progress, sharing insights with the Lead Educator and contributing to developmental records.
- Family Communication: Support the Lead Educator in maintaining open, positive communication with families, offering warm insights into their child's day.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive, supportive classroom that reflects The Ivy's philosophy.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field is a plus.
- CACHE Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent), attested and aligned with KHDA standards; relevant work experience considered alongside qualifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an early childhood setting or working with young children.
- Warm, engaging manner with young children and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Pediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before opening).
- Strong English proficiency; Arabic or French is a significant plus.
- Valid UAE visa or eligibility to work in the UAE; police clearance and background checks required.
- Available to begin in August for onboarding and pre-opening training.
Assistant Educator placements span our age groups from Nursery through KG2; classroom placement is discussed during the interview process.
